Default More progress on the Tomcat

Hey fellas, here is the latest progress on the Tomcat. I am going to put a Tarps on it for shits and giggles. the foward and aft fuselage sections were a pain. in the pics you can see where i had to use Mr. surfacer to smooth everything. I also took a break from sanding to work on the landing gear,

Default Making Slllllllloooooooowwwwww progress

Hey guys,
I got the bird all pre-shaded and realized, why was the black paint still shinny? Well I end up using gloss Black instead of flat black. and now I am having to wait a few days to move along. here are a few shots of the gear as well.

Sorry for no updates. I am on det. I did however get it painted with the base colors now I have to fade it. I am still un sure on what kind of load out that I want. I kinda want to do the Tarps pod, but I did rob a Latrin pod/ pylon from another kit. any suggestions???

I always thought the 4 sparrows and 4 sidewinders looked cool. Not accurate for the time period though hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm. Quad bomber is pretty cool.

I would do the TARPS bird. You really don't see that many TARPS tomcat modeled. It maybe not be the sexist mission/loadout but a very important role of the F-14. My

Single GBU-31, dual GBU-12, Tarps are pretty much what they carried over the beach during their last cruise. No Aim-9 most of the time either. To my knowledge, VF-143 didn't have a quad bomber set up during cruise. The majority of their combat flights were dual GBU-12.
