Default New Furball Decals Now Available!

Our first three sheets for the new series of 1/48 Kittyhawk Cougar kits are the first of our new collaborative effort with Bert Kinzey of Detail and Scale. These sheets feature markings for aircraft that are covered in the new Detail & Scale Digital book on the F9F Cougar. This new series of decals will compliment Furball’s regular line of decals but are designed with the help of the incredible reference resources of Detail & Scale.
Our first Cougar sheet (FD&S-4801) “Air Wing All Stars Cougar Trainer CAGs” features markings for nine F9F-8T/TF-9J aircraft all in 1/48 scale. Enough stencils and data are included to build two complete models. Here’s a rundown on the aircraft covered:

-VT-24, F9F-8T 142526 “3K 200”, NAS Chase Field, 1961

Our next Cougar sheet (FD&S-4802) “Colorful Cougar Trainers” features markings for 11 F9F-8T/TF-9J aircraft all in 1/48 scale. Enough stencils and data are included to build two complete models. Here’s a rundown on the aircraft covered:

Lastly, we now have eight new vinyl mask sets available. These are completely new designs and are produced in house (literally in the Furball basement) so there shouldn’t be any out of stocks like we’ve had in the past with our old line.

FMS-002 1/48 F-14 Vinyl mask Set for the Hasegawa kit
FMS-003 1/48 F-4 Vinyl Mask Set for the Academy Kit
FMS-004 1/48 F-8 Vinyl Mask Set for the Hasegawa Kit
