Default Delaying VF-111 for Academy

Gents,

We've decided to delay the VF-111 release until late December or early next year, when Academy releases their new tool F-4B kit. I've been on the phone with MRC, and they've agreed to get a kit to us as soon as they get their first shipment in, so we can size our decals to it.

We will release VF-92, though, as soon as that art is finished. Unlike VF-111, -92 is not dependent upon the exact shape of the tail for the markings. We're really looking forward to getting 92 out the door, as it's got some beautiful aircraft schemes on it, with plenty of aircraft that saw action in Vietnam.

Smart move...was wondering if that was going to happen with this kit on the way. Can't wait.

Cheers

Hi,

I'm looking forward to this and the VF-92 sheet.

Have you considered adding some decals for sunburst helmet visor markings to the VF-111 sheet?
Personally, I'd like a bunch of those and I think many modelllers would find it a nice touch to get at least a couple.

Cheers, Stefan.

I'd like to second that request.
