I think it's safe to say any future plans for any E-2 decal sheet production has been terminated at this point. We learned our lesson with the VAW-125 sheet.

Did the 125 sheets not sell very well?

I'll try a custom decal maker for my Seabats. I like Fightertown's VAW-124 sheet, another squadron I was with briefly, but 127 was my first squadron and I had some pretty awesome times with them and at the time I was in the corrosion control/paint shop so I actually painted many of the markings on our planes.

Sorry your E-2 sheets didn't fair too good.

I'm betting a lot of folks don't know they exist. I'd try advertising them in the base paper up at NAS Norfolk or down in P-cola.

They did, but they didn't. Our timing wasn't bad or anything, it was just the subject matter. This is the thing with the decal biz...you win some, you lose some.

We should have waited to release the VAW-125 stuff later on, but we were really getting some great cooperation from the squadron and we didn't want to let them down.

I like FT's Liberty Bells E-2 sheet personally, but I like 602 from our sheet as well. If I had an E-2 kit, I'd build one with our markings on it.

I can recommend an excellent artist if you're looking for custom decals and I can recommend an excellent printer as well.

Good tip on advertising in the NAS Norfolk area!
