Default Werner's Wings is finally online

www.wernerswings.com is alive and active. Many of you have asked about a website so I took the plunge. Here is our work in progress. Thanks to Scott Bricker at www.orcada.com for the web design.

Check out the home page for a sneak peek at the new AH-1F decal sheet. It isn't finished in the photo and may be subject to change, but you'll get an idea of what is on the sheet.

You can see the product price list now and hopefully by next week you will be able to see the product pictures.

This is not the HTML version yet but the emails work.

Let me know what you think.
Floyd

I really like the look and design of your site. Did it cost a fortune?

Nice looking site! Any chance you'll be doing some 1/48 OH-58 conversions to make an A into a D?

I think it is beyond my capabilities. I'd love to do it but I don't think I could do it justice. I think we need one too, but doubt we will see one anytime soon. Sorry.

Considering it's Destro, wouldn't it be Cobra's overhead.

Hello Mr Werner Great site! I was wondering if your deflectors and seperators for the monogram kit will work on the revell kit. I was in the 5/17 Air Cav stationed on Camp Mobile Korea from 93-94. I witnessed the sad retirement of all 18 of our AH-1FC's (C-Nite) and all of 1/2 Aviation Attack Batt. aircraft as well. We moved to Camp Stanton with replacement OH-58Ds. What a bad move! Anyway, enough about that. Just was interested in your resin. Hope to hear from you soon. Mikey

Yes the parts will fit because the Revell kit is a reboxing of the Monogram kit. They will work perfectly together.

I'd love to see any photos you have from back then. I was in 1-2 Attack (Half Assed, Full Blast. LOL) in 1992. I was the only test pilot for nearly five months. I was busy but I learned a lot.

Wow! Thats crazy, small world! We actually joined together and became HalfaCav Ill have to see if I can find my patch we actually had a Red and Blue patch made for the joining of the two units. That same month the Acrappies came over and were doing the "Show and Tell" fly around, fully loaded with 16 hellfires. I have pictures somewhere?! Impressive and don't get me wrong the Apache is B.Azz! but sad to see my cobras go. I was 18 and an E-2 when I got there. I ran PC for the whole year and flew with MR. Russak our test pilot. To tell you the truth I think I had more hours than our commander LOL. It was just easier for me to throw on my gear and go test flying along with carrying parts in the ammo bay to take to 2AMC. Cargo Cobras! I had the time of my life. Never should have left! Man I have some stories! but perhaps some other time. Ill try and get some pics scanned. Off to your site to get some stuff. Are there any decals for just the sabres and a cav flag. Maybe I can get my stuff together, I designed a new mascot for us (F-troop Witchdoctors) I tried like hell to get them to let me paint it on our Hawk but no luck. Anyway Thanks, Mikey
