Default F-15 Covers

I just completed 2 F-15Es and what I wouldn't have done to have that damn two mikes resin set with the aoa, pitot, intake and exhaust covers! Well that ain't happening because they are out of business. However I know that Darren has a nice set on intake and exhaust covers for the Hasegawa F-15. With just a little bit more work we could have ourselves a great set of F-15 aoa and pitot covers again! Whatcha think? I got another Mudhen in the stash!

Actually, I've been thinking of doing that set now that Two Mikes isn't available. I didn't want to do a set prior to that because I don't like to duplicate what another small company is doing. I'll take a look at doing a set of covers. What about the grill covers? Should I try those as well?

I'd love to do an Alaska Strike Eagle with all of the covers and RBF tags all over it. Can't wait!

I hated putting all those covers on at the end of the flying day. It's known as "dash 21" equipment.

Bout once a month I had to replace all those damn streamers.

I would for sure buy a few sets if you came out with them. When I built my F-15A a couple of years ago I used Two Mikes covers and RBF flags and yes, it was a pain it also got a lot of attention and those sorts of things really bring the model to life i think. If you do them, yes the vent covers are a must!

Alrighty, then. I'll put this on my "to-do" list. It will probably be a summer project when school is out.
