Default DDG-70

Hi Gang:

Every once in a while I need to cleanse the pallet, so to speak. Ships will do that for me. Have never done a 1/350 kit before so here we go...

Whole bunch more coming on this one and I am having a ball with it!

Nice, which kit are you using? Are you going to finish it as USS Hopper or another Arleigh Burke? Look forward to seeing her finished.

I've never completed a ship build.....it did 23 years in the Navy....maybe that's the reason??

Cheers,
Devo

Default More DDG-70

Hi All:

Have gotten more done on the deck of this thing. Coming out nice, but was bitten by the ping monster! Ticked me off! Spent 3/4 of an hour on the floor with a flashlight and a magnifier, but no joy. Here is what I have so far for the deck.

The bow is almost done. Much more coming...

Have been working on the ship some more. Latest pics are below, more work on the forward superstructure.

Much more to go on this beast. I only hope I can do it justice!
