Hi Eddie:

Fuselage is 24.5 inches long. Yeah I know, I'm nuts! Still have to figure out where I am going to put this monster.

sounds like you need some 20lbs test fishing line and hang it from the ceiling.

Keep up the good work, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the finished big bad Herky Bird!!

Default 1/48 130J Main Fuselage

Hi Gang:

Been working my ass off on this one. Seams sanded, and long ones too! Phew! Here are the latest pics of progress.

Lots of work left to go and I am really enjoying this one! Might even get another one to do FAT ALBERT!

Hey, Spaz!
That's a work of love you're doing! Don't get another kit; get the resin bits by Attack Squadron for this one, instead (the engine nacelle correction, wheels and flap sets). They will certainly make your Fat Albert look like quite a different kit.
Incidentally; have you thought of a place where to display a monster like this?
It's about the same size as the 1/48 vac-form Vulcan B.2 kit by Aeroclub!
Cheers, my mate!

Default Hmmmm... Yeah that... Um a place, er um, what was that again?

Hi Vin:

The title about says it all. I was thinking about maybe fishing cable, no not line, cable hanging from the ceiling. Maybe on approach? A long one... Other than that I don't know. Hope you all had a good giggle with this one...

I've got a 1/48 AC-130A kit... I've always wanted to build it and trick out the interior with lighting and everything

Hi Skull:

Go for it. There are a bunch of great lighting kits out there and you don't have to be a master electrician any more to use them. Looking forward to seeing it posted.
