Default Decal fit question...

Geoff,

I just ordered the Furball F-14 Color and Marking Part III that are designed for the Tamiya kit. Is there a meaningful difference between decals designed for the Hasegawa kit and Tamiya kit? I have several kits and want to use some of the older decals designed for Hasegawa on my Tamiya kits.

Thanks,
Rodney

The Tamiya tail is about 2.5mm shorter than the Hasegawa tail. This makes the rudder shape different. Any decals designed to fit the Hasegawa tail may require some trimming. Overall though, I don't think the differences are that bad.

Thanks Geoff. Would the decals for the ventral fin or strake work fine?
