Default Thinning MM Flat Lacquer

First off, Happy New Year gents!! Secondly, wondering how much/how little to thin MM Flat Laquer? I usually just final coat projects with the rattle can variety, and I've never used the stuff out of the little jars. Would really, REALLY hate to ruin all the hard work at this late stage of the game. Insight would be greatly appreciated.

I thin my MM (old Testors) 50-50 with lacquer thinner. Been using
the old Testors (big bottle with pink label) for about 40 years now.
MM flat lacquer is pretty much the same stuff but in a smaller bottle
and higher in price. HTH

The nice thing about lacquer products is that they are pretty much immortal. In otherwords, if you don't let them dry out completely, you can re-constitute them with lacquer thinner. Sorry, I had to add that. Safety first: Use in a well ventilated area and wear an organic respirator. It's nasty, explosive stuff, but if used properly, won't be an issue. I start at a 50/50 mix. Anything I shoot through the airbrush always goes on a junker model first for a trial to make sure I've got it mixed right.
