Default 1/25 Revell 2010 Ford Mustang GT

A few notes on the color callouts for this kit:
  • Oil Pan (72) says to paint aluminum - it is actually gloss black
  • Oil Filter (87) should have the end painted white if you wish to have a Motorcraft filter
  • Interior Pan (30) shows the underhood area as Gloss Blue and black - be sure to check references to get the coloring right (blue areas are body color)
  • Firewall (38) is painted body color, but check references since parts of it are black
  • Mirrors (39 and 40) are body color and black
More notes to follow as I assemble this kit.

"[*]Interior Pan (30) shows the underhood area as Gloss Blue and black - be sure to check references to get the coloring right (blue areas are body color)"

This I why I wish Revell would stop putting color callouts for body panels, do they really think modelers are going to paint the car the color they suggest?
Just pay attention to the car you're going to replicate, look for some reference pictures on the internet or go down to the local Ford dealership and grab a sales brochure or ask a sales rep to open one up for you.

If you need any help with Ford Mustangs, LMK, I've built a bunch of them and have owned 3 of them.

Or be nice and give a listing of interior and exterior colors and codes.
Got my reference sites bookmarked, but if I run into anything that stumps me, I'll give you a shout!

They could have also molded the taillight buckets separately and chromed them...was a royal pain using Bare-Metal Foil to make them nice and shiny.

I'm going to build one of these in Grabber Blue for my step-daughter soon.Have you come up with a way to adjust the ride height? I hear it sits like an SUV if left alone.

Almost done with it - had no success it getting it lowered.
However, the bottom radiator hose is a royal PITA so it got left off, and the decal for the "fuel" cap on the back of the car doesn't fit.
