At the printers along with #48009 (F-4G) is this big guy, sporting options for 18 F-16s from United States Air Forces Europe. This is a rather sad walk down memory lane, with jets depicted from long-gone squadrons. Both new sheets should be available by early February.

5) F-16C 85-1464, 512TFS, 86TFW flagship, Ramstein AB, Germany, August 1987

6) F-16C 85-1546, 480TFS, 52TFW, 1st F-16 assigned to the 52TFW, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, April 23, 1987

7) F-16C 87-0270, 480TFS, 52TFW flagship, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, July 1991

8) F-16C 85-1552, 480TFS, 52TFW flagship, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, September 1988

9) F-16C 91-0361, 480FS, 52FW, Operation Enduring Freedom, Kandahar AB, Afghanistan, July 2013

10) F-16C 91-0366, 480FS flagship, 52FW, Operation Enduring Freedom, Kandahar AB, Afghanistan, July 2013

11) F-16C 87-0228, 614TFS, 401TFW (P), Operation Desert Storm, January 19, 1991 *shot down during 'Package Q' mission over Baghdad*

This is like xmas coming early - the only "negative" thing is that we have to wait until February to buy it

It gives you time to build, paint and glosscoat them Niels

Jens (seriously tempted by an F-16D conversion of the Tamiya kit...)

I see 3 shark mouth SP. Do they all use black SP with white backdrop? I see one set on the sheet.

I wish there was a Tamiya D-model. I wanted to include a lot more D-model decals, but without a good kit I didn't think many people would use the decals.

I'm pretty sure you already have your answer.
"But I did notice that if I wanted to do all 5 Spang jets I'd be SOL. Or all the Hahn? Sheesh. Seems okay with some, guess I'm not the target audience."

Received mine this morning. Excellent instructions too! One thing missing from the F-4G instructions would be drawings to show the demarcations of camouflage top and bottom for the wrap around scheme.

So we get a refund then?

I have an F-4G that was damaged, but not damaged beyond repair a while ago. It's still a decent model, but will need a repaint as I may not be able to match the colours. That is still a fairly long way off, so there's no rush on my part. If you can make the file as a pdf and email to customers that might be the cheapest way of doing it?

Jens

Hey Jake, I'm gonna have to get your new Viper sheet that includes Mike Roberts (shoot-down) jet. I was at the base on then Major Roberts first day there, and we became good friends. My daughter interviewed "MR" for a school project when she was in the 6th grade and got an A+ on her project. Mike did a great job explaining the shootdown and his time as a P.O.W. to a sixth grader. I also don't have any Aviano decals. As soon as I get caught up with my modeling allowance, I'll order that F-16 sheet. Take care and fly safe,
Tim

Wasn't 91-366 the SW jet that bit the big one in the collision with the Cessna a few weeks back?

No, 0366 is the former 480th flagship that went down in Spang recently. It's on the SEAD Vipers sheet.

Gotcha. A former 27FW/522FS bird. That's why I remember it.
