Default T-38A wheel well color

Hi,

Does anyone knows the correct color for the wheel well for the T-38A?
If I take a look at the Daco book it seems that the color is grey but Wolfpack Design states it's white.
Thanks,

Michel

How about the '60s & '70s, were the wheel wells & inside of the landing gear door white or natural metal?

Thanks!

The early T-38/F-5 wheel wells were painted silver, not natural metal.

When the AETC A models went to the two-tone grey camo, the gear, gear wells, and speedbrakes and bays were painted the same gloss grey as the belly.

Other commands' A models, like the black ACC jets, kept these areas white..

If you tell me the jet you are modeling, I can give you a more definitive answer-
