Default Do you have any 1/48 MiG-21MT/SMT decals in your line?

I've been looking everywhere for some aftermarket decals for my Eduard MiG-21SMT/MT weekend edition and I can't find any out there. Any of your sheets include any for these versions?

Thanks,

In a word, 'No'!

The SMT was not built in great numbers, the 'export' MT in even fewer (it found no customers outside the USSR). Quite frankly there were a few interesting SMT color schemes, but not so many special markings that would make it commercially viable to produce them on a decal sheet. You really only need appropriate bort numbers and the red stars.

The SMTs based at Veshevo in Soviet Karelia (formerly Finnish territory) in the late 1970s had very clean VVS tactical camo schemes, but basic red borts. They're worth doing, if you don't like the decals Eduard is offering.

I found a URL with some photos from this era at home, but I'm out of the country right now so can't locate the link. Sorry.

Thank you for the info. I guess I'll either do the one provided with the Eduard kit or, as you say, get bort numbers to do another version.

Here are the photos of the Veshevo SMTs. Pretty standard VVS schemes, all colors being produced by AKAN:

My memory failed me on the color of the bort numbers, though...
