Default F6F-5 Hellcat Diorama 1/48

Hi folks,

this is my first submission to Zone-Five. In order to introduce myself: I'm 51 years old and started modeling ca. 40 years ago. I mainly build american aircraft in 1/48 scale, and my all-time favs are the F-16, F-104 and P-51.

Well, despite the fact that I've never been a big fan of the Hellcat, I really enjoyed the build of the Jasmine F6F-5. If you like photo etched parts, this kit is for you ;-) I added the magnificent Eduard R-2800 engine as well as other goodies and put them all together in a virtual museum scene.

Sorry for the rather blurry smartphone pics. I hope you like it nevertheless?!

Bernd

Um, do you think you could have introduced yourself with something a bit less intimidating? Wow! Welcome and we're glad you're going to join us here. I look forward to seeing your in-progress builds. Should be fun!
