Back then the standard load out would be;

1 x GBU-38
1 x GBU-12
1 x AGM-65E on LAU-117
1 x AIM-9X

The stations varied but one side would have two of the above air to ground weapons and the other side would have one. The one side that had only one air to ground weapon would also have the out board pylon installed, just empty. The AIM-9X usually went on the left wing tip but it was not uncommon for it to be on the right.

An ATFLIR on Station 5
Drop Tank on Station 6
Drop Tank on Station 8

The I don't think they were carrying AIM-120's at the time, just a 9X.

Hi Gerry

Thank you.
I have the Blue Diamonds and the Black Knights from USS John C. Stennis 2008 - 2009.
The Blue Diamonds has more Close air support fly, where the Black Knights more bombing and ground combat has flying.
But it is unfortunately always different with the Weapons load...

Cheers
Chris

Forgot to mention, usually the left wing would have two air to ground weapons and the right wing would have the one since it also had the drop tank.

The only time they would fly two on the right wing with the drop tank is if there was something wrong with a station on the left wing.

Also, the out board stations would be empty pylons.
