Default 27th of May again

Hi,

Can you believe it's been 59 years since the first flight?
Next year she'll be 60!
Here are some I saw last month...
My first blue RF-4E.

A Japanese man told me this one was coming back from overhaul in Komaki, otherwise you don't see RF-4E's without tanks or pylons.

They don't fly the large numbers they used to, but a four-ship from 301 Sqn put on quite a show. They practiced strafing their own ramp. You can tell from the vapour, they were pulling hard.

Thanks, Devo.

Wow, 60 years since the first flight of he F-4 Phantom II today.

I haven't seen any yet this year, but I'll see some later in the year if all goes well.

Cheers, Stefan.
