Default 2012 NATS in Orlando - Catch All Thread

Anybody seen a preview of the dekkel sheet?

Are you going? Are you going to enter anything?

No, I haven't seen anything about the sheet. Yes I'm going, bringing family to enjoy the park, and no, not going to enter anything.

I'll be there. Buying many decal sheets. Not entering anything. Working as well, as part of the sponsoring IPMS club (Pelikans)

Dekal sheets are "Usually" kept under wraps until the convention. Asl me how I knwo this ;-) I'll be flying into Panama city and then driving to P-cola on Sunday, then all day Monday at the USN aviation museam, will stay that nihgt and then drive down to Orlando on Tuesday. We will then fly out on Sunday. As for shirts Scot I don't think there will be any as it's way to late to get the shirt designed/ordered/paid for and printed up.

Had a great day yesterday helping Dragon USA online prep their display . . . then made my way over to TwoBobs/TwoMikes to grab some stickers and resin, then on to the AB booth for some more decal goodness. (NOTE: the AB booth with test a man's self-control -- or lack thereof -- with sooooo many decals sheets just begging to be bought!)

Looking forward to snapping some pics of the entries as of today, and dropping some more $$$ with the vendors.

Best deal I had yesterday: 2 Hasegawa F/A-18Bs for $25 each! (Now I have to track down some of those nice Figthertown decals for some Desert Bogeys for my Bugs)

Sorry man! I arrived safely, but the camera didn't. I was able to meet Ishthe47guy and he is taking pics like crazy.

In other news

ANOTHER UH-34! MRC has sprue shots of a UH-34D from Gallery Models. Years of nothin' and now we have a Revell re-pop (as a Wessex hybrid?), Italeri, and now this Gallery models.

Again, sorry I've got no camera. AND nothing new on the Academy F-4B

Default No kidding the shots from the Florida folks aren't that good...

Anyone know where the good shots are? From past shows there were pictures all over the place and now with 5 billion megapixels on phones you would think there would be some superlative photo's...

Cheers for the weekend!

Some sprue shot pics I took today with my phone (not the best).

The 1/48 Trumpeter A3D:

I'm guessin' this is a follow-on to the HobbyBoss F4U-4 (AU-1 or -5)

1/32 Skyraider

1/32 P-61

I think this makes me the Z-5 camera boy

Wow, a 1/48 Skywarrior!

First time I see it. Thanks, Z5 camera boy.
Luckily, they seem to be including a folded wing option.

Cheers, Stefan.
