Default McCarran Intl Airport

Took a few shots at McCarran this afternoon.

The ultimate revenge, is success.

Last time I was out there my G/F dropped me off at the pulloff on E. Sunset Rd. and was gone for 2 hours before picking me back up, and the A/C never stopped landing! Paradise! You could see them stacked up for miles.

Other people were there with fancy photo setups on top of their vans or P/U trucks, and most had scanners picking up the Tower Freq. Alot of fun!

having a scanner can take a lot of the guesswork out of aviation spotting... especially if you're at an airport that DOESN'T have aircraft landing or taking off every thirty seconds (read: Atlanta, LaGuardia, etc).
