Love these! My grandfather flew these for the US Army way back in WWII times. We've got a few DC-3 aircraft out here that fly special flights around the city. I need to scrape some money together one of these days and take a ride.

Same thing here,for $150 you can fly Flagship Detroit at anytime for a year or ride on it to any destination it flies to,quite a bargain.I plan saving up enough for next year when it comes thru our area.

My father crewed C-47's for nearly 20 years so the Gooney Bird has a special place in my heart.

$150? That's a steal! The flights here are triple that from what I recall. Of course they're supposed to be a "dinner flight" with a tour of the city from overhead. But still, it's not exactly affordable. I'd jump at $150 if I could find it for that here.
