Default seduction

Hi All:

It started by looking back at the great paint jobs from the 70's. Navy and Marine birds. The first one was VMFA-321. Now VMA-214 A-4M from around 75 or so.

I am hoping it will look a little like this one.

I'm looking forward to seeing your finished product. Just don't do it too good I may have to do another one. I have started work on a TA-4 with hopes of some nice Marine decals.....hopefully we'll see Two Bobs jump into some gray/white birds also.

Hi All:

Well I have the wing tanks painted... All things white have been pre-shaded and sprayed. Control surfaces have been painted red, masked, and await further construction. Landing gear is next. Pics when she is on her feet... Lots more to come...

Been having a time with the decals on this puppy... The tail was a PITA! Photos to come later on after more decals... One side is almost done...

Default decal work...

Hi All:

As promised but maybe a little late...

Because of the rib structure in the rudder, the first set of decals with the color got trashed. Luckily there was another set that was just the stars so I was able to use those. The stars and bars over the vortex generators on the wing were fun too! I am trying to work from tail to nose so I don't run out a place to grab the model... More to come when I get to the finish...

Enjoy!
