Time to start a mini GB in the props forum. The suggestion is a P-47 build in non U.S. markings. Any interest?

Mexico never has the -M version non on the Philiphines none back on Mexico. The Mexican Navy never has the P-47 either. The version you show is the P-47D 30 of the Mexican Air Force, with markings for the opening of the Mexico City Airport. In fact there is some errors in the Aztec markings. This aircraft was the star in the movie šNegro es mi colorš and in that picture you can see that the flaps was painted yellow completly, not only the band. The cockpit was painted in Yellow Zinc Chromate as well the wheel bays and covers. It has no data stencil at all. The bomb markings was painted because the pilot did those bomb raids in Philiphines during WW II. I`m in for the GB with a Tamiya P-47D 27 in Senta a Pua markings on Italy 1944. Cheers.

Sorry guys that I haven't stayed on this one. I've had medical problems that have taken up all my time.
So lets just any P-47 any markings. Just remember that jugs always look best in pairs. I'm going to start off with a pair of Hasegawa 1/48 Razor backs in US markings. More details to follow. Lets set the start start date as Friday 13th of March and finish by mid August. I've never organized a GB before so any help would appreciated.

We'll make sure to get a thread stuck in the Props section for finished Jugs. If people wanna post in progress stuff, they can post in the In Progress forum.
