Default USAFE Bitburg Air Base (Preview - Workbench...) 1/72

Ok guys
I ve been off for a while but would like to keep on running the dio-thread.
I named this thread what it really is: A preview of what`s coming up...
In fact it would belong to the workbench, but as the result will be much bigger than my workbench I decided to give it a own thread.

It showa up part of former Bitburg Air Base and consists of several sectors. The entire diorama will be 5 ft x 9 ft large and show up typical buildings and aircraft of 1987. (of course also some visitors from other bases.

I really wanted to create this in 1/48 but for good reasons I choose 1/72...

Please be patient - anything you`ll see here is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. The result will be given an own thread.....
Hope you guys enjoy it and IŽll get the pics uploaded.....

No problem at all. I love building structures and air base facilities as much as building the planes... To me...it always needs to be a complete picture..not only the aircraft. In fact I am nuts...as ist means a lot more work to do...

Ok now back to the solved problem. Glad to share some knowledge about it all...the solution is quite easy. I took an emty conduit for electronic cable from our local home improvement market. That`s all. Note the diffenent sizes you can get, they work proper for both scales (72 and 48)(1,6 cm and 1,2 cm diameter). Tell me if you have problems to get some of this stuff or sent me PN. I am sure I can provide support.
Best

@the other guys: Thanks a lot for your comments. I will continue posting this thread. Had some aircraft posing in front th BT TAB-V.
Great to have this community!
