Default MQ-9 Reaper to Ikhana conversion

G'day People,

I want to convert the Kinetic MQ-9 Reaper kit to NASA's Ikhana.

The main sticking point I have is the longer wingspan. The Ikhana has an 86' wingspan as opposed to the approx 66' wingspan of the Reaper. My question is how is the wingspan achieved? Is it a case of a wingtip extension or is the wing an entirely redesigned?

If it is a wingtip extension, where is the wing tip extension added?

cheers,

Pappy

Looking at photos and according to Wikipedia, the Ikhana has the same wingspan as a standard MQ-9. The aircraft with the longer wingspan is the Altair.

I don't have the time/resources to hunt it down, but I remember while visiting a GA facility and looking at Ikhana (overhaul) the GA folks were saying that although it looked like an MQ-9, it had little in common with an MQ-9.
