Default 1:72 Revell JAS-39C Gripen

So last month at my local model club meeting (which meets at HobbyTown), I found this guy on sale for $5 (75% off!). I figured it was totally worth a 5 spot, especially considering the crazy decals. I was wrong. The plastic was crazy soft - using sprue cutters would tear, not cut. even using a razor saw would tear the plastic. The decals would come off as soon as they were wet - no waiting, which was kind of a surprise. They also weren't perfectly in register and really didn't want to settle down. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend the kit. I added some tape seat belts and that's about it. Otherwise it's pretty much OOB.

So here it is. It won't win any awards, but it looks neat in my case and I'm glad it's off my bench. I like to finish what I start (not that I always do).
