Eh, not so lucky. The weather was horrendous. We did manage to get airborne, but spent most of the time just trying to find some decent weather. We eventually got recalled back to the base due to the weather worsening, and very few pics were even taken.

That's two separate flights, Remy. While Misawa required an Ark, Kadena was outstanding. That flight was awesome!

No, the trip was outstanding, overall. I just wish the weather had been better at Misawa. That was the only disappointment.

Think I've only been to Misawa once when the weather wasn't pissing rain or totally overcast the whole time. That one time was in December or January, and there was snow on the ground, cold, but clear. Waiting to see some incredible stuff out of your trip, though-

ive been to Misawa a few times. Very nice F-4's and some F-2's as well as some E-2's they have there. Gotta love VP deployments
