I'll also suggest sealing your puttied areas with C/A glue, MM does not like putty and it will always show, but if you flow some c/a over it it will absorb into the putty and won't be so porous....

Can you tell if the red primer is under the zinc? It looks like the red is under on the external surfaces, and the zinc looks under the red in the gun compartment.

I'd pass on the Airdoc set, it suffers from bad shrinkage,it would be less work to scratch the Donkey Dick, and depending on the "C" model you are doing, some did not have them.
