There were/are several "hot" thin glues

Micro-weld, Weld-On, Tenax 7R......I've never used Tamyia but it sounds the same.......The 1st two disappeared ( or became rare in) from our LHS's several years ago, and Tenax 7R became the prevalent...

of Fine Scale Modeler july/august 1985.........Has a yellow Pilatus Porter on floats on the cover. Here's one source link below...Check your local library...Sometimes they carry FSM and keep copies...

is "The Complete Car Modeller" by Gerald Wingrove........Until fairly recently he built model cars (from scratch).. Like 1/12, 1/16 (ish) scale stuff.....There are sections on making silicon rubber...

Materials are mainly sheet styrene. Landing gear is brass tubing.....IIRC I had a set of plans from Grumman Archive Dept (company history)........Since they have merged with Northop I'm not surewhat...
