Making Vinyl Tops

Vinyl tops were a popular "dress-up" option on a lot of cars in the 60's and 70's. Very few models come with them but it's pretty easy to make your own.
First, find some styrene strip that roughly...

I thought Xtradecal had some generic stripe decals, but not what your looking for. You could always spray some blank decal paper the appropriate color and then cut it to the width you need.

Monogram 1/48 First Lunar Landing

I don't know how many times I've built this one-at least three. It's still as much fun to build as it was 40+ years ago.

Vietnam era decals?

Are there any Vietnam era decals for the A-7A/B? I've been looking but so far most of the decals available are for the late '70s and after.

I was thinking about that yesterday at the LHS. I ended up buying Revell's big Type IX U-Boat. Probably a bad financial decision but I now have one to go with the Type VII I haven't built yet.
